The definitive thread for converting from Auto to Manual!!!!
Ok, Ive seen ALOT of threads about this, and researched for days...but none of them seem to have any real information in it about the steps or parts included. I would like ANYONE who has done this to please give all the info you can about how much it cost, how hard it was, and all the parts necessary.
Ive read all of this Good thread, but I cant really find out what else I need. If I can just get the parts list down, I will do a THROUGH install page with pictures the whole way. So please help me out...
So Far, I know that I will need to buy....
manual transmission, aftermarket clutch, aftermarket flywheel, ECU from manual???, OEM pedals for clutch, random bolts, drilling holes and all that, but if anyone else knows a good thread or link for parts list, Id be SO THANKFUL! Thanks!!#@#!#

Ahhh...Just to clarify though, Im going easy and just going for the 5 speed manual instead of the 6 speed because I think its better suited for the engine. And it just seems like there could be so many more complications, and honestly I dont think there would be much of a performance difference overall considering the gear ratios are made for the engine.
