It shouldn't affect anything, but if you think it will be noticeable when installed, then I would do something about it. If it was damaged in transit you're gonna have to contact the shipper, not Cattman.

Should be a straight bolt-on, but might need some adjustment after you drive a bit, for rattling etc...

The only thing you'll need is some stiffer rubber exhaust hangers. I bought mine from AutoZone, they work great. Holds up the B Pipe enough to not hit the cross member.

Pick up new hangers. Congrats, you'll love the deep Cattman sound.

I got mine installed at the shop b/c they had to weld on a flange. It rattled badly in 1st gear when accelerating, so I removed the cross brace thing. It was fine until a few days ago, now I get a light buzzing rattle while accelerating in 1st. You think new hangers would fix that? I can't figure out where it's hitting...

Do you have a lift or jackstands? Ya need to jack/lift the car high enough such that the stock muffler will come off. Either that or you're gonna need to be taking off more suspension pieces than you want to get the muffler off. Basically, I used a lift because the muffler has to point almost straight down to get the piping out of the tunnel. Even if you do manage to jiggle the muffler out somehow, it'll be hard getting the new rear section on. I wish I had pictures, but maybe someone else can shed more light on this or give ya better advice....
