My car started making this noise going over bumps at low speeds. I finally drove by the dealer to talk to the service manager if they had anyone else complain about this. And yes they have. And they also said Nissan is aware of this and they also said that the problem is not a loose item, or loose strut which is sounds like. Nissan got cheap and forgot a few other parts. They did not install some type of shield on the brake assembly, I believe he said the shims, which causes the rotor, on the rear brakes to move and rattle when going over bumps at lower speeds, or something like that. Nissan has the part # and the dealer is gonna order these parts for me as well. Now I got 4 parts on order and they are on back order due to high demand! Damit!!!!

I had the same problem. i went to my dealer and it seems Nissan forgot a couple of parts on my brake kits. There were three pins missing on the left back tire causing the rattle. The service dept ended up replacing both back brakes and installed two new kits. Beware everyone, check those back brakes!!!!!!!!!

Seems to be coming from the center of the engine area. It gets really irritating and it makes the max sound cheap. I think its gradually gettin worse, unless its just my imagination. I haven't done any mods in the engine area except for light rewires and a fuse for my amp, but thats all.
