Damn, just finally got around to taking the 2000 max for the trans service bulletin (posted about a year ago). My trans is slipping from first to second. I showed them the Service bulletin but the damn dealer says it's not the transmission control module but something else. Swears it can't be that. I say give me a new trans then.... to be continued.....

Try other dealer

wat does other dealer say?
usually when they replaced ur trans....they use "remanufactured" or "rebuilt" transmission which they ripped from other cars.....I would make sure that it is really not the module problem. In addition, "rebuilt" parts have different warranty....watch out.

good luck

It could very easily be the solenoid and not the TCM. Have you read the latest bulletin?

It is the Selenoid....I have a friend who is a tech at a Nissan dealership and that part is ordered for my car and it goes in on Monday to be fixed. I will post results when I get the car back.
