gle/gxe vs se springs

anyone know what the comparative spring rates are? i have a 2k se and i need to soften up the ride for my wife. i'm thinking of swapping with someone who has a gle or gxe and changing to the GR2 struts at the same time.

anyone know if it's a real difference between the two suspension types???

Yes, it is a difference. The SE has less body roll and a higher spring rate. the ride is, ahem, "firmer". I would suggest, though, that you not switch to SE springs but instead switch to Maxpseeds or H&R, which have a similar ride to the SE but much better handling (and a minimal drop that looks nice, not rice) Combine that with Tokico Illuminas, which are adjustable ride, and you can tweak out the ride quality for your wife. On the softer settings, Maxspeeds with illuminas ride alot like a GLE/GXE but handle better.

could i possibly just soften things up with my struts? for some reason, i feel like my ride's gotten a lot rougher since i bought the car. the car doesn't pogo so i figured my struts are still good, but is it possible that worn struts could cause the rougher ride???
