No. It will not work. The location for things such as the seat-belt buckle switch are not in the same positions on the ABS controller unit.

This may even cause your seatbelt light to be on if you use those seats. And from what I can tell, your side airbags will not deploy in an accident.

The seat belt buckles themselves are in the same place, but according to the 2000 and 2002 ESMs, the electrical connectors on them don't match the wires up to the same ports. The connectors are the same for them, but there are wires that the 2002+ seats have that the 2000-2001 seats didn't have.

It's entirely possible that it "could" work, but from what I've seen in the ESMs, the ABS wires don't match up pin-for-pin.

Well you need to get the sensors that are also in teh side of the car to detect side impacts. you would have to wire this all up too. It's way to much trouble.

If you still need the WD let me know, I'll upload the FSM for the 2k2 to my webpage when I get home and send you a link.

I'd like to do this as well, to bad it was an option that came with other crap I don't need. It should be standard!

Also like Fezzik said the sensor install looks like a major PITA!!!
There are 2 satellite sensors that go in the bottom of the mid pillars and a different diagnosis sensor unit than the 1 you have so you'll need to get these. The pin out is different so you'll need to scavenge the wiring harness from a totaled car or at least cut the connectors out and re-wire the whole thing up yourself. This would be much easier to add to the 5.5 because all the wiring would already be there but you'd still have to install the sat sensors.

If you're going to go through all that you might as well add the driver seat memory while you're at it.

I have a wiring diagram..... don't know if it will help too much, but it's in PDF format and I don't know how to get that onto the web. Later on I'll print it out, scan it, and post it as as jpeg...... unless somone else can tell me a easier way.

Is it different than the ones in the FSM? If so I can host it if you email it to me.

Thanks a lot guys, Maximan777 could you please give me the WD it will be great help, I don't really care much for the Side airbags, just want the heated and power seats option to work. And besides the 03 seats look and feel a lot more better than the 00.

Thanks,
Jake.

I forgot my ISP has a 20mb limit.
You guys can get any Nissan/Infiniti FSM for $20. For that $20 you have 1 day to DL as many as you want.
Here's how.
