Need help putting in LED (elScanner)
#1
How many ppl has installed a LED (it's call el-Scanner) on their windshield. It's a strip of LED that sticks to the windshield, it looks like the red light on the Knight Rider car. Anyway, i'm having some problem in installing and was wondering can anyone give me some feedback to where to hook the power from? Thanks so much.

Yes because if you hook it up the right way, it comes on when the car is off. My friend has one and it comes on once the car is turned off. It was hooked up with the alarm or something.

I originally tapped the power from the security lite, cuz I thought the security lite would provide enough power. When the stock alarm is set the LED stays on for a little bit and then when the system starts to blink, the LED shuts off and the lite doesn't even blink. I realized that was the wrong way to hook it up, so i have to find another way to hook it up. Frustrating, and I hid the wires so well to.
Back to square one.
