2k3 sheer silver with PROJECTOR HEAD LIGHTS, opinios......???

Whoa, I think those look really nice. If they made them with chrome trim (like the OEM headlights) I would probably invest in a pair, notably because one of the headlamp enclosures in my car has some scratches and discoloration on the INSIDE of the lens, which is kind of ugly.

These are direct replacements and will fit the ballast and all the OEM Xenon wiring, correct?

Edit: oh wait, those are chrome trimmed. interesting!

Edit2: Look at the bottom of the auction, where it states:

"THIS ITEM IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 2002+ MAXIMAS EQUIPPED WITH STANDARD EQUIPMENT H.I.D. HEADLAMPS"

That's a pisser. Does anybody make these for 2002-2003's?

These have been out for a while now. Not sure about everyone else's opinion on them, but I prefer the look of the OEM HID's over this option.

From what people have said on this board about them, they suck. very poor beam battern, you'd be better off sticking to the stock HIDs. Which I would agree with too. Most aftermarket projection lights really don't give off a good beam pattern, although I have never seen these in action.

I actually voted for em cuz they LOOK good... the black ones that is.... but I'd agree that they won't work as well as the stock HIDs....

I'm thinking about buying them for my 2k1 max

what if i add a set of HID bulbs (like 6000K)

will that improve the output and beam pattern?

because the oem 2k1 max's aren't HID? so i'd imagine the halos are better than stock 2k1 headlights?

the projector in those headlights is not designed for HID, so the beam pattern will be just as bad.

they arent plug and play for 2k2+ I personally would rather just clear out oem headlights and put dde's in. the ebays have a cheap sort of look to them and i think they would look kind of tacky on silver imo.

Sheer silver is a 2k3 only color..... I've seen it only on 03 TE and GLEs, here's what it looks like...

GreekMaxima, save yourself the headaches and wait another couple of months for Umnitza to release the DDEd HID projectors. they won't be that expensive either...

I have a 2k w/ the projector headlights, with some new bulbs, i dont think they are as bad as people say they are, but i would definatly stick w/ OEM HIDs and clear them out .

Why would anyone stray from $1500.00 OEM xenon lights for a pair of $200 lights?

If you have a 2k2 or 2k3 my opinion is to stick with the OEM.

if you dont have HID then get these but they do look a lot better than the stock 2k and 2k1 headlights. as far as output from the bulbs, try this, i did it on my only integra, the projector lights will probably be 9006 bulbs (someone correct me if im wrong) so with a little clipping of plastics you can put the 9005 (high beam) bulb into the low beam socket.
it actually worked pretty well, cheap but it gets that little bit of extra light without spending a crap load of dough on HID's. silverstars work best from any pepboys/autozone...

I used them with silverstars. They're a$$. Trust me. The color was more yellow than it was white. Almost looked green. When I put my stockers back on, I swear it felt as if my car had HIDs.
