Clutch question

Hey guys. I have a question about my clutch. I have a 2k3 6spd with 18k miles..Whenever i release off the clutch i hear like a knocking sound. Its kinda hard to describe...Lets say im driving in 4th and i down shift to 3rd...when i release off the clutch, no matter how soft, i hear like a knocking sound...even when i shift up...i have no idea what it could be...any ideas? OH btw it just started doing this like 200 miles ago...

I've had a CLICKING noise issue, but not a knocking. It went away after about a day though.
If you're still under warranty, take it to the dealer and have them figure it out.
