PIAA wipers work great, dont know about how they are in the winter. The wipers come with a packet of some type of alcohol/silicone wipe that makes water bead up on the windshield.

You guys would seriously pay $20 per wiper? You're gonna have to replace them in (more or less) the same amount of time as regular ones.
Go to Walmart & buy some cheaper wipers and some rain-x. Use the extra money to buy car care accessories.

Get these, they are just the inserts and will fit into your OEM blade frames. They are silicone, last longer and leave a residue on your window that acts like rain-x. I am more than pleased with mine. I changed to them right when I got my car.

I had to buy a whole new wiper anyways; but after having these on, I will never switch back, I never thought a wiper could be this good.

Why not do both: Nice wipers and Rain-X...and car care accessories. Wait, I guess that would be "all three"

So these inserts are just a direct replacement for the factory blades? No special attachments or anything goofy like that?

I just put on the PIAA Super Silicone wipers and we got rain today in Dallas...they are great...but the size is 26" driver and 17" passenger. Hardly any auto part stores had any 26" wipers that were half decent so I bought mine off of imotorgear.com

You have to take the blades off the wiper arms. Then pull out the previous inserts, there are instructions on the package, I believe, it is easy. There are metal guides on the inserts that help them slide into the frame. There is no need to spend money at get the whole blade. Unless there is serious rust or it's bent, it's almost like getting new wheels when you replace your tires; unnecessary.
