vqman down to just one vq powered car (truck)
my
user name - "vqman" - was a spur of the moment decision...I had a 1998 Maxima and a 2001 Pathfinder. TWO VQ powered vehicles under one roof...I thought I was some kind of "vq" stud.
At the time I thought I knew a lot about Nissan's, I had been a certified Nissan Sales Rep, and an enthusiast for years...
Later I traded the 1998 Maxima in for a 2003 Maxima SE 6MT, Titanium Edition, Black on Black Leather...I had it for 25 months, and yesterday I let her go. I sold it to a guy in Washington D.C.
I took her to get washed one last time before I dropped the car off at the place were all the eBay'ers ship their cars...my wife picked me up after the inpsection...
I might miss her, but I have high hopes for what will come of my next major automobile purchase. who knows what that fortune might bring, either an old Q45 for my wife, or a Z32 (w/Twin Turbo) for myself...maybe I'll wait a few years and get a used G35c 6MT...
but for now, it's just the ole SE-R and the Pathfinder.
I will still hang around to give my 2 cents, annoy you all, and make a fool of myself..(old habbits never die)...but I'll be without a Maxima now, and I'll probably never own one again. Unless I can talk the wife into selling the Pathfinder, she may end up with an old Q45 or an old (93-94) Maxima...we are building a house and can use the cash, the house is the better financial investment, as cars do nothing but go down in value (here I'm trying to justify losing my baby)
here's my car domain site, the Max is on page 2

peace everyone!

Truly a "heart-felt" moment............I dunno, is it just me, or are there alot of 5th gen guys getting rid of their cars?? Seems to be close, if not just as many as the 4th gen guys are...
I'm done modding, but my car's staying with me for a few more years

The SE-R has low miles, so its reliable transport...
It went for $18,250 to a guy in D.C.
