Does TS ECU fix drive by wire throttle?
Does TS ECU fix drive by wire throttle?
"Throught our testing we found, the drive by wire system was program to never fully open (throttle flap) when you smash the accelerator pedal. In fact, it actually closes the closer you get to the rev limiter, by as much as 20%. This restricts air into the motor and causes HP and Torque numbers to go down. We have remapped this setup so when you go wide open throttle, the throttle flap fully opens and STAYS OPEN, increasing HP and Torque."

This happens to me all the time. Sometimes it seems if I push the throttle slowly its faster. Other times if I just smash it and I'm not in first<own a 6 speed> I won't get full power. Has anyone got this and noticed that the throttle is alot more responsive? or is there anything else out there that'd help?

Yeah I have the same situation, 2nd gear smashes sometimes leave something to be desired up until about 4k RPM. People with the ECU's please give us a little insight because this is one of the mods I'm considering...if anything for the raised rev limiter.
Big C
The raised rev limiter is great but I never noticed any difference in the drive by wire. However I didn't have a problem before. This fix, as noted above is only supposed to help in the higher rpm area not down low.
My throttle position shows around the 80% area at WOT both before and after the TS ECU program.
