here it is
1) take out coin holder next to hazard signal
2) remove screw
3) remove shift ****
4) pull up on bottom of shift boot
5) unscrew 2 screws holding in cd deck
6) remove vent by pulling up and out (takes quite a bit of force but it will pop out)
7) remove 2 screws holding top of cd deck.
8) remove one side of metal brace holding in the climate contol and cd/tape player
9) take out climate control(cc) unit
10) take out light bulb on bottom of cc buy twisting
11) remove light rail
12) unclip front of cc (6 clips) the slider will pop off
13) remove buttons in the front by pulling on them
13) unscrew all the screws you see (those silvery ones)
14) pull out circuit board (this part is pretty hard.. becareful not to bend/break it) it will come out tho.
15) change leds (look at where the cathode is in the bulb its the one thats larger triangular shaped but the board indicates differently... but just match em together and it should work )
16) remove light rail to get to slider led
17) same as 15
18) place circuit board back in place
19) put face back on
20) make sure light rails for buttons are in cus when you put the face on they will be pushed out a little
21) everything else should go in reverse order they were taken apart.
22) done

note: not my fault if you blow up your car, start a fire, electrocute yourself, void your warranty, etc etc

happy modding

I'm assuming you can.

Check out the Test Post forum for your pic problem reply.

I don't think it is that simple.....you would need all the wiring for the temperature sensor for that to work....plus there may be other wiring that the non-digital controls have...
