Good deal?

i want to know if this is a good deal or not.

2002 Maxima SE auto
71k, leather, bose, heated seats, power seats, dark blue. Car has snow tires mounted on the factory wheels, no all seasons available.

Being sold by an Infiniti dealer, 60 day/3000 mile warranty. Car can get an extended warranty for $1200.

Dealer asking $15k, but came down to $13,500 in five minutes worth of "conversation", I was speaking with the general sales manager. Also, I have to take the car with the snows mounted, no other tires.

Thoughts? I thought it looked pretty good, and i feel i may be able to get him down to $13k even.

That is too many miles bro. My car only has 40,000 miles and it is worth 13 by kelly blue.

I would try to get them down some more. 11k maybe. Plus you have to eat at least $400 in new tires if you want anything worth trusting.

I just checked kelly blue book and that car with that miles is only listing aroun $10,400 for trade in value. Keep that in mind when they tell you how much they gave the guy that brought it into them. Just my .02 cents.

2k2 by me is worth more than $13. My 2k2 6 speed would fetch around $15K locally. I think $13K is fair. Will you keep it or sell it in a couple years? After 100K miles the car will have little value (thats what cars do-depreciate). If you keep it for many years, it will be a good deal.

I'd wait till the end of the month, thats when they have to meet quotas... Then tell them you'll take it for 12K and free extended warranty.. you'll end up spending about $12500 - 13000 with free warranty.. I bought my 2K last year with 45K miles for about this much... don't ask the sales person to talk to the manager.. you just walk up and make your offer and make sure they know you're willing to buy, they don't like BS
