Steering wheel chrome emblem, where to get?

Anyone makes a chrome emblem for the 2000-2001 models to cover the plastic engraved nissan logo on the center of steering wheel? I saw some people paste larger emblems but they dont look good.

it would cost a fortune, since you would also be paying for the airbag if you replaced the whole steering wheel. I also don't know if it can actually be done. But would you want to spend that much $$ just for a Nissan emblem??

i tried using chrome tape. It works to a point. I pasted a square piece of the tape on the logo, then slowly pressed on it to get the tape into the groves, then cut out the extra tape. Problem is the tape is too thick ot get well into the lettering to be detailed and also any little scratch will leave lines. Found several emblems on ebay that tmeasure 2.25 by 3 inches, but the one on steering wheel is about 1.75 in X 2 in approx.

was your wheel beige before or was it black?

I got a beige wheel but I dont like it. I have black leather seats (did it myself). I am afriad if i paint the wheel, the paint will come off over time since I drive everyday
