He didn't tell you to chill...

Anyways, I'd just straight up go for the cattman headers.

What happens when you go to get your car inspected (like MA strict new inspection laws).

#1. What about emissions? Will the headers affect them or is that just all cat?
#2. Say the 'inspector' pops the hood and notices the headers...can't he just fail you right there for having them?

I'd love to get headers, but I'm worried about this inspection/emissions B/S.

Uh, I was talking to Bran, not you... and I said exactly what you did... suspension prefences vary greatly by owners....

Plus, I don't believe I passed any judgement in my post whatsoever....

But forget it.. this is all OT...

1st. BlackBirdVQ has been with this forum for a while, he has a lot of expirience with the 5th gen 3.0 max's and he knows what he is talking about, so I would suggest listening to whatever he has to say, being a newbie....
2nd. That being said, you need to let us know what your budget is. As far as hp goes, Cattman headers first, then Cattman full cattback. Cattman has the best quality products for our max's. If you plan to stay Naturally Asperated (NA) then go with the place racing CAI, as it is the only true Cold Air Intake offered for our cars.
Also, do some research and make sure that your VIAS is working properly, this has been a major problem to many 3.0 5th gens, myself included. Can PM me for further info on that subject and I will direct you to the proper threads discussing this problem.
Beyond any of that, your other options are nitrous and turbo/supercharger. This involves a lot of time and money, but if you have plenty of both, go for it. As everyone else say's, just my 2 cents...
