I just took off the altenator today. There is actually no place to move your hands once you remove the bolt that is closer to the engine.... tommorow is putting it in the new one.... I might put up some pictures and a write up... for everynody to enjoy.......

That would be cool. I am in the process of doing the same thing. I just don't really know how to take out the alternator and replace it.

well so far I'm waiting Advance auto parts to call me. Is going n today..... it was hard to take it out, but I hope it will be easier toput it back in......... I'm going right now to pick up the alternator.....

went and got the alternator now got screwed when trying to put it back.... need to buy buy another tool to take out thr idler pulley. will keep posted.....
