Installing dash trim over the climate control PLEASE HELP!!
Ok, I am replacing the trim overlay on a manual 2000 climate control unit. I took apart the dash to install a dash kit so all that is all out already. Ok, when I took out my bose headunit the climate control was attached to the headunit. I dont really see how the 2 would separate. But wasnt trying to separate them. I figured out how to take the trim overlay off the bose headunit, but around the climate control didnt want to budge. And i didnt want to force anything with not knowing what exactly I was doing. Has anyone changed their's that could provide me with a writeup or some steps, I would appreciate it greatly. I dont wanna have to pay nissan like 80 an hour to work on this. Thanks

I installed the trim like 2 weeks ago. You dont need to take it apart to get it on.
If you still want to seperate the bose unit and the climite controller, here is a written up instruction:

btw, once u pull out the dash, there are four screws holding the cd player and the temp controller together. I am not sure why you have to take it apart.
ohhh, after reading it again, i understood.
Take the temp controller home. get a hair dryer. Put it on the lowest amount and blow warm air ontop of the unit. this will cause the 3m glue to get soft. Then take a screw driver, and gently pull one side off, should go from there.
