Place Racing is the only TRUE cold air intake for our cars. YES, it does involve drilling a hole thru sheet metal, but it's actually a pretty easy install. The sound is great, wouldn't chage it for anything else, but this topic is more a matter of opinion than science, so be prepaired for a wide range of answers.

To keep things simple... to what Mad2k said... (but I have a Berk, which is a WAI and I love it.... )

And yes, expect many different opinions on this....

Btw, if ya go to the FAQs and look under Intakes, there are some older threads discussing the various options.... might be worth your time....

Hmm I didnt know anyone had a PR intake on their 02-03... didn't think they existed. Everyone keeps on getting the crappy Injen for close to 300 bux, where same knock off can be had for 50 on Ebay. Get the Injen stickers off Ebay and you will be hard pressed to tell its not a Injen. I am deff rockn da PR intake- over 2 years on mine now.

do you have the ebay one? are you sure the ebay one is no different than the ingen? does the fuse box have to be moved for the install?
thanks

I have an injen on my 2k2, installing was a breeze but im sure any other intake wont be too hard to install. Yes i got the Injen intake for the name, but at the time i got a cleaning kit with it, so i thought it was worth it. Im happy with what i have choosen but a lot of people will tell you to go with the berk which is more reasonably priced (i believe)

my friend has this one on his Maxima, hes got a 00 SE 5spd. Got some Injen stickers for it and it looks JUST like a Injen. I have a PR one on my Maxima- the only real CAI. I belive PR one is just like Cattmans CAI. PR is not the best fit with 01 Maximas, fuse box has to be modified in order for it to fit.
