At least it is official, at least we aren't number one.

 

Damn. You beat me to it. This is bad news... it just means our insurance rates are gonna go up. I really hope this HID theft doesn't spread to Cali as I'm moving back there permanently this week. Maybe this would be a good excuse to sell my Max.

 

I wonder if this will affect insurance for '00-'01 Max's without HID's. Oh well, just one more reason to not buy '02-'03 H/L's.

 

And even a better reason to not buy an Escalade

Edit: As this has been common knowledge for quite some time, I doubt you'll see any adjustments in your insurance rates.

 

At least the Max is in the news.... Bad joke.... Man if someone wants your car there is nothing you can do. I remember a friend of mine. He bought a 300ZX twin turbo. One night he went to his house put the car in the garage, closed the garage, close the car, put the alarm, went inside and took a shower, came out and the garage door was open the alarm disconected and the Car...... Gone......... so that's a story that will make you think... today the Max is on top tomorrow who knows......... maybe the G that I'm buying next.......

I knew I wasn't the only one who saw that this morning! If my insurance goes up any more, I'll be buying someone at Progressive a new Maxima every five years!
