Lovesick,
I read your post about washing the engine, and I have a question: Do you cover anything up in your max such as the battery, alternator, or anything else before you degrease and spray your engine with the garden hose? I have been contemplating cleaning my engine for a long time now with all the salt and etc...but haven't had the nerve because I am afraid of shorting something out.
If you can comment on this, that would be greatly appreciated. what is your technique by the way? do you hose the engine all over? top to bottom?
