Body colored grille or no? OPINIONS!!!

I have a satin blue pearl color max. You can check out pics on my homepage. Right now I have a chrome grille kit that I put on. I am going to take that off and was wondering whehter I should paint the grille body colored or another color like silver. I like the looks of the body colored grilles but dont know if it will look good on this color car. So any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks

IMO dark body color grills look better then light ones. I've seen some white painted grills on white cars and I did like them at times. But it seems like it's one of those "i like em today, dont like em tomorrow" things for me. But if you wanna do something less expensive for looks, I think it'll look pretty good.

I have same color, leave the grill black or just make it silver.
The grill does not look good in that color, trust me.

Anyone have a pic of a black 00-01 where the grille was painted black? I still wish I could get mine to look like the 5.5s.

I think a grille painted to match a body of any color other than black, silver, or white won't look that good.... just my opinion....

Not so crazy about it unless you have a dark colored car.

does anyone have any opnions on what i should do with my grille? I am getting new headlight assemblies not sure whether HID or 20th anniversary ones. If i get 20 th anniv. i will paint grille to match those. If I get HID I thought about painting the housing black then painting the grille black. Or do you think painting the grille silver would look nice. All opinions are welcome and appreciated. Trying to decide.

Personally I think it looks great on the darker colors but not on the lighter colors. I'd never do it on my white...

The grille on my black AE is black. You can see it on my web site.

Thanks. Man, that looks sweet. How difficult was the job, and what kind of paint did you use?

Actually, the bumper got whacked in a parking lot. When the body shop repaired it (cost me $250 deductible on my insurance), I had them paint the grille (which was actually easier for them). I really am pleased with the way it turned out.
