Is there any Maxima MODs magazines out there?

All I see are the Honda mods magazines everwhere...

No, unless you consider the articles in Import Tuner, etc, pertaining directly to Maximas. There is none devoted strickly to Nissans, to my knowledge.

I agree, I subscribe to Super Street and SportCompact even though both seem to be made specifically for Honda worshippers, which brings up another point: is it because they are cheaper or that they can be modified and tuned for better performance than Nissans?

It's just because they have more manufactuers of aftermarket parts.

I mean, seriously, go to a Max meet and EVERYONE has the same bodykit on, the same mods: FSTB, intake (either cone or CAI), maybe someone has a RSB, maybe someone has more neons or strobes or a cleaner engine. But there isn't a whole lot of variety when it comes to mod parts for the Max.

So... when there's not much variety, there's not much a magazine can devote to.

i think that even though the subscription base would be large enough to make a go of a nissan biased magazine, there wouldn't be enough advertisements to bring the publishing company the money to make it worth while.

I dont know the answer to your question, but I'm in the same boat, subscribe to both of those... and someone needs to do a Nissan tuner mag. Want to start one?

Even with a Nissan mag, I think there would be lots of articles on SE-R's, Z's, and 240's rather than Max's. Maybe a Max article once in a while, but very minimal.

i was thinking of making a magazine for maximas only... but seriously... how much can u write in one... i mean u could prob fill up 3 months worth tops... and then u done... maybe a nissan magazine... they got a bunch of stuff out for 300zx and maybe once a mag is made the companies will see that there is a market for it and they will start producing more parts for us... in the begining it could be a quarterly thing u know and then a little more often when u get more info and stuff coming out... just a thought...

Not if I was the editor. Realistically you'd have to keep it broad -- not just Max's .. but you could do a good nissan / infiniti tuner mag

Nissan/Infiniti mag would be nice, but I still think Max articles will be minimal. You know what? Start a new mag and you can be the editor.

Find me a publisher and I'll be AN editor but not THE editor.. how's that sound?
