Hey newbie, why don't you post something useful instead of wasting our time with stupid **** like this....IMHO people shouldn't get flamed for trying something creative (even if it is a kind of ricey sticker as posted by the other dude)....if you don't like it, don't get it

There is only one maxima that truly deserves to get flamed, and it's this guy:

I would hardly call that picture a flame. I didn't resort to name calling, profanity or claims that I had somehow been inconvienced. Were you really looking to buy some stickers when you opened the post? It was just meant to be funny.

BTW I'm with you on the white Max. Yuck!!

I know, I just felt bad for the guy bc he posted something he had created and everyone just flamed him for it......maybe because I get flamed half the time when I try to do something creative

as to stickers, I have them on my car, but they are not car-related but ski/bike related (except for the black .org stickers). I wouldn't have bought his stickers, but I always try to give props for people doing something creative, even if I don't like it (well, except for the lambo max - he truly deserves flaming)...if nobody tried something new we'd have 500 maximas in this forum that all looked the same....

I'm thinking that alot of you don't know what this joke here is about...it's in reference to a guy who had some decals made that say "DOHC 24-Valve" and had a thread about it (which was moved)....I don't think they looked too too ricey, just not my style. You can see the actual decal in the photo at the top, at the front end of the driver's door. In case some of you didn't notice, (?) the other things in white are from Photoshop. I get the feeling that a few people here think that they're real

You're right. He didn't deserve all those flames. You have to admit the picture was pretty funny though.

BTW Are those bike racks on your car? What do you ride?

yeah it was funny, I just had to defend the guy for some reason bc nobody else was....also I don't think many people saw the original sticker post before it was moved, so this one is kind of an "inside joke"

yeah they are bike racks (though the ski racks are going on in not too long)

I ride a Spicer Alu hardtail (essentially a custom frame) that I built up with mostly XT/XTR and Ringle/Sun components.....

since I bought mine a few years ago, Gene Spicer has started to produce alot more frames and full setups (including Ti frames and 2WD bikes (!)...good tough, high quality stuff

Sounds sweet. I guess I'm more of a carbon fiber kind of guy. Not much skiing happening here in FLorida but we ride all year. Now we're going to get flamed for being off subject.
XTR and Mavic on the Cannondale

Dura-Ace, Mavic wheels and Carbon everything

nice...yeah I'm not much for street riding (except for the occasional trials runs, which I guess are partially on street)....I used to ride cannondale but sold it...I guess I wanted to build a bike myself from the ground up (like modding the car, it's a bit of an addiction) and had to sell the CD to get $ to finance this little project

wish I rode more, but it's tough finding th etime these days.

and you started this thread, so you're allowed to go off topic.
