Help- My Car when starting

Now that its gotten colder here, almost everytime i start my car i get this low pitch squeal/hum everytime i turn it on.. it sounds very disturbing but only when starting. Even from my auto start, or when i turn the ignition. Somebody help me... Also ive felt that i lost a crap load of power? This might be a result... Thanks in advance

Did any of you got the UP?That's normal if you do.If not than you might want to check the belt,if it look's ok no crack and all, then you might need to tighten it up a bit.

Might be a long-shot, but in mine I traced an annoying sound to the interior blower. I've heard from a few people about it. Worth a shot.

I have a noise too, only when I first start it...I thought it was my belts, but just had them changed last week. It almost sounds like a bad bearing or something...but the new belts didn't help...still don't know what it is for sure.

im pretty sure that the belts just shrink a bit in the cold, thats why the niose is only for a second or two.
