alright, my 01 maxima started slipping when it shifts from 2-3rd (automatic transmission). It like over-revs into 3rd and then kicks really hard, and it sounds like a belt is slipping and rubbing in the engine. and sometimes i hear a grinding almost of the belt or a belt when it shifts from 2-3rd, just 2-3rd tho, not 1st to second. Im def. taking it in! i know theres TSB's about this so...any comments? what could it be?

 

a slipping or overreving 2-3shift along with a squeal is a sign of a faulty 2-3 shift solenoid. You answered your own question by saying that you are aware of the TSB
