I have and Max 2000, and this problem is bugging the sh*t outta me.I have a A/T. Ok, I get above 40mph get off the throttle and the car slows quicker than normal or than it used to. Its just the opposite of those folks having the problem with their car lurching forward or not slowing. I think what I am saying is that the fuel cuts quicker than normal.

Could there be a problem with my Torque converter ? The dealership does not see a problem, + I get only 229 to 270mpg in the city. When I first bought the car I was getting 300- 315mpg. Can anyone explain this or having similar problems?

 

Do you have OD on or off? Is the yellow indicator light, the OD light, lit up on your dash?
