Cattman Catback for 01 and 03

My girl and I just got our exhaust from Cattman's GD today for both our Maxes. What's the difficulty level in this install......basically is there any welding required for either of the two years? Also, what is the duration of the install. I would figure no more than an hour for each right? Any how to's would be appreciated.

Thanks,
p

Depends if the nuts are badly rusted. On my car, the mechanic had to torch off all the nuts. He wasn't too happy about that. =)

Simple bolt on's, no welding... the only issue is jack height and clearance for the muffler... go here for another discussion... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=348410

should be failry easy and bolt right on, except those bolts are definitely rusted....nissan uses cheap bolts that break very easily......make sure you use a torch....especially for the cat bolts....and then buy new bolts

p.s you must have a real cool girlfriend!

I'm sorry George. I swore I did. Trying to keep up with all the pm's regarding a GD on Carbon Fiber Door Pillars that I tried to assist with. I did however get your pm, I just thought I did respond and you haven't gotten it with all that you have going on. It must be my fault.....sorry. Thanks for getting that out to me. I hope you didn't feel rushed into having to send it out quickly or anything. I can't wait to get it mounted. Again, thank you.

You wanna hear something funny. Here's the story on this one......

Going to a bar @ about 10pm to meet up with roomy and some friends back in July. At a red light with a couple of cars around. Looked in the rear view and here comes a car pulling hard. Stopped beside me and I thought....."Hey, nice AE!" looked closer, and thought....."Hey, Nice Chick (very attractive) in the Nice AE.....humm wonder if she'll play?" Light turned green and I think I was the one that got played........she pulled ahead and then I hit 3rd and was GON4GOOD. We must of hit 7 or 8 lights, and went at it till we reached uptown. I went one way she went the other. Thinking to myself......I wish I would have met her and got her number or something. Got to the parking lot of the bar, and went to valet park...........Guess who was in front of me?!?!?! You guess it! She happened to be going to the same bar, and my mission for that night was at that point planned. I'm going to meet this girl if it was the last thing I did. Told my friends about it and point her out, they bet me that I wouldn't go talk to her. Guy that tried to pull up went to the restroom (bad mistake), so I pulled up. Tapped her on the shoulder, she turned around and said, "Hey you're the guy in the Max, here's my number call me we should go out sometime!" The end from that point on......We've been dating since then and it's been wonderful. She just might be the one........She'll be on the org soon, i've just gotta setup her home page. It's great to be with someone with the same interest and hobbies.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'll check the bolts on this before I attempt.
