So I got the new Nissan emblem today (5'x4'). Went to Home Depot and after a looooong search, I found exactly what I was looking for. I bought a couple of (90-degree) angled edge guards; a pair which was polished (exact color I needed!) and another pair which was more flexible and in black. It wasn't very expensive so I decided to buy two pairs of each. My measurements are two 11'' pieces for the top part of the grille and one 23 1/2 inch cut for the bottom part.

No class tomorrow so I'm going to spend most of the day working on the grille. If I don't get the strips done, I'll definitely have the emblem on. I've already did a quick check by putting double sided scotch tape on the back of it and slapping it over the original emblem and it looks niiiiice. Will post pics tomorrow, definitely.

 

Made the cuts today. Used a more flexible material. The cuts look good, the edges just need to be smoothed out a little bit. Bought spray paint too, black and silver. Weather sucked today, so that was the most I could do.
