ummm wrong generation, but if it is anything like the 5th gen maximas GLE, there should be a little plug right under the trunk lid, you splice those and bam! you got a break light for the spoiler

Call a few of the dealers in your area for a quote. I bought one and the installation didn't look like something I'd want to tackle. I got quotes from $60 to $300 to install it.

Check your local laws before you wire up the brake lights. When I bought my GLE I wanted the spoiler added on and I had the dealer do so. He told me they had to remove the brake light in the back dash because it was illegal to have more that 3 brake lights. I do not know why it is illegal. maybe it is a state law and not federal. They had to put a plastic cover over the hole where the original brake light was. I am sure you can get the cover from your local dealer for pretty cheap. I does not look bad.

I installed mine. I first made teplets, checked and rechecked. Mounted the spoiler removed the 3rd brake light from the back deck, went to a nissan dealer and bought a plate to cover the new hole in the back deck. easy as 1-2-3... TAKE YOUR TIME!

If you buy the OEM spoiler from Nisan, the plate covering the old light hole is included in the kit. I remember there being some pretty big holes you had to drill into the trunk lid.
