SES, Hesitation, 02 Q&A

On occasion my car seemed to take about 5 seconds to start sometimes I would stop and start again. I would then give gas and it would start. This has been happening for about 6 months, so it is not the cold.

About 3-4 weeks ago I got an ses light for a 02 code. I have not replaced it yet. I have to get on that.

I have always used over 89 octane, mostly 91. I moved down to 89 recently because I was told that lower octane starts better in the cold.

Question, do you believe the o2 sensor is the reason for the hesitation?
