Hey guys, while crusin Cardomain.com and Cars.com trying to kill my endless time at work, I came across more than a few cars with 99 GTR Skyline Tail lights in them, however I didnt not see a 5th Gen with them, So my question is this:

Do you think its possible to put these lights in a 5th gen Max?

the reason I ask is becuase of the unique shape of the back end and tail lights themselves, and because most of the cars I saw with them installed already had rectangular backs and lights to begin with, so opinions anyone?

 

the 5th gen tails are too narrow in my opinion to house two circles side by side.

 

Agreed, I believe however that the main reason is the sheer volume of work needed to just get the lights in, you'd have to cut alot of metal out of the back to get them to fit and then body fill the rest, I just think it would be a pain, but I'd like to see what everyone has to think, so please feel free to keep responding

 

the closest thing ive seen to that is one guy on here w/ a pearl white 5th gen painted the black part around his SE tails to match the body, looked ok

 

I thought someone did it to that lite bluish color (g-ma color) fifth gen w/ chrome rims???
