thats funny because I just popped my headlights in oven today to clean them as per the link above from housecor.....it was pretty easy, I put in oven for 35 min @ 250deg, took them out and they came right off (after prying sealant away with small screwdriver......it sounds crazy putting them in oven but works quite fine......good luck

don't have to glue them if you don't want. just leave them clear with no cover if you prefer. just get a orange bulb for a susbtitute.

your not gonna burn them if you set the temp low

Cops?!? For that?! Are you joking? The cops by me suck, but they'd NEVER say anything about the lenses being clear up front. I've got chrome bulbs that flash amber. Now if you're planning on blue/white turn signal bulbs, that's a diff story.

So then you just nod your head, say you'll do it, and tell them to get fuked under your breath.

You gotta clear out the amber. It looks sooo good.
Anywho... i'm going to bed. I'll try to convince you to do it another day.

I'm not a fan of the Tap Plastics lens (although no cutting is needed)

Yup, eyelids from Leftcoast and sadly, they don't make them anymore.

You need to cut the Home Depot lens to a smaller circle so they fit. Not that tough to do. Use a Dremel and cut it a bit larger so you can trim it down for a tight fit.

Sure could. In fact, it's the perfect time. I'm going to replace a clearance light at the same time i clear my HID's. I'm also going to replace my fog light bulbs.
