2000-2001 maximas with driver side tail light out
Hey whats up guys! Have any of you had problems with the driver's side tail light on 5th gen 2000-2001 maximas. When my head lights are on, the driver's side tail light doesn't come on, but when i step on the brakes it lights up. The LED on my spoiler works, and the left tail light works absolutely fine. At first i thought the driver's side tail light bulb needed to be replaced but that can't be the case since the light aluminates when i step on the brakes. Whats strange is when i drive at night and see other generation 5 2000-2001 maximas i've seen a couple with the same light out. Has anybody here had the same problem, and if so how did you get it fixed? Thanks!

i have had that. it is just a crappy connection the bulb is making in the socket.
When I used to have that issue I would get pissed and beat on the back light and it would work on occasion. but just replace the bulb, it is a bad connection. I have had a few like that. but I just buy them at pep boys, so I get about 4 bulbs for the price of one napa bulb.
