Engine Stalling

This only happens when the car has been running and is at normal operation temps (car engine is stock vq30de-k, manual tranny). When I start my car the rpm usually jumps to under 2000rpm and then falls like it should, but sometimes it falls to 0rpm and stalls. It is easily fixed by me hitting the gas before it gets to 0rpm, but then its normal. Happenes too on the road when i let off the gas and hit the clutch, rpm falls to idol but falls to 0rpm and stalls. Any ideas on what would cause this?

Here we go. It's a 4th gen but directions are almost the same compared to your 5th gen.

could be fuel filter. I've been had the same symptom on my corvette before. It takes me a long time to figure out it was the fuel filter that got clogged.

I just cleaned my TB. went by autozone and got some tb cleaner and some rags. I took all my air boxs off, eccept for the air sensors, for some reason i couldnt figure out how to get them out. so i worked around them. I had some dirty rags, omg I am gonna do this more often and spread the word of how well this works. I would like to thank Ammi for helping. The car ran bad for a second prob cuz it was sucking up all the phuemes of the tb cleaner, but i reved it up and it when it all cleared out, boy it was great. I just drove it around and it never fell below 600rpm. nice clean smooth rpm drop, and it seems smoother too.

Took me about 40 min to do. Wasent hard, and i have a nice imprint on my thumb where i held the tb wot to clean. ow. great way to spend $5. thanks again.

btw - how do i check my ignition coils?
