Removing sticker/line going across

I just bought a 2000 Maxima Se and have one thing that is really annoying me

The car has a red line/sticker going across it from one end of the car to the other. Have any of you guys tried taking it off??? and if yes how do you do it?

any help is appreciated

i have a 2000 and did mine with no problems. did it on a hot day so the glue would be heated up. then i went to the car wash to lossen it up. most of it pealed right off. used goo gone for the rest. there is a very faint color diffirence because of color fade on the rest of the car. but you have to be inches away to be able to tell. i dont know if black paint would be diffirent.

be very careful when using a blow dryer to heat it up. too much can actualy damage the paint.

ITS GONE!!!

well taking off the sticker was easier than i thought lol.

This is what i did. I put the car in the sun (eventhough its winter and cold), but the car still heated up. Then all i did was peel the sticker.

It came off with no problem leaving no marks. I thought it would be harder but i guess not. Maybe every car is different.

THANKS for all your help everyone
