Updated pics of custom grille (Two hi-res shots)

So I removed the old emblem from underneath the sandwich logo. I evened out the sandwhich logo so that its lines run straight with the lines of the grille. As you can see from pic #2, I have to fill in the hole left behind from the old emblem. I'll think of something, shouldn't be tough.

Hey Arnold, I really like it! How exactly did you do that because that is the look I have really been wanting for my black AE.

Thanks guys.

They're plastic strips that I cut up to match the dimensions of the grill. The strips are about 2 inches wide and I used double-sided to apply them to the grille. I took them off yesterday and stripped the paint. The paint was a little messy so I'm repainting them now. The emblem is still on, though.

I am guessing that is the 5.5 emblem. Where did you pick it up from and how hard was it to remove the old one and put that one on?

It actually isn't a 5.5 emblem. I believe it's from the back of an Altima. And removing the emblem was cake. It's taped to the grill with double-sided adhesive and sits on two pins. Just slide in a thin knife and it'll peel off.

Great, thanks for the tip Arnold. I have really wanted to improve the front of the car and the look of yours really impresses me.
