Maintenance needs at 35K - Basic Warranty about to expire

Hi just go this car less than a month ago..i don't have a users manual yet...

1. what are the recommended checks/inspections/fixes at this mileage...i don't have the service records yet ?

2. and do i have to have the services performed by a dealer in order not to violate the warranty - i have a few more miles of basic left, and mostly warranty..

3. Given that the basic would be expiring soon, what are the essential things to have checked.

sincerely, Noela

I think you're referring to the bumper to bumper warranty. 3yr/36k

I would take it to get all the TSB's and recalls done.

Have them look at the brakes too.

A dealer is under no obligation to perform a TSB unless the vehicle shows any symptoms of anything being wrong. A recall is different and the dealer is obligated to replace a part even if there is no symptoms of anything being wrong.

pick a good dealer, print out all TSBs and go. Ask them nicely. They will do it. They get paid for warranty work. Tell them you will keep coming back if they do a good job.
