TCM Needed

I had posted about this quite some time ago, but had thought that I was getting it from the stealer for free... Fat chance.

SO, anyone have a TCM for a 2k that they can sell me cheap. (one that is not screwed up like mine )

Thanks in advance...

you may want to try car-parts.com. you can search local junk/salvage yards, just make sure you choose the one with the correct options of your car. there were quite a few different part numbers for tcms made in 00/01.

not sure of the source but some have said that some I30 tcms allow them to redline in every gear. i have an updated tcm as well but the shift points are almost exactly the same. anyone have an idea of what year I30 or even maxima tcms that could accomplish this? i know there are a mess of part numbers for maxima tcms 00/01 but i figured it would be worth a try.

i know, i figured it was a worth a try. seems like infiniti is superior on things like service and quality so maybe they got better shift points but i guess not.

What would be nice is if someone could crack the TCM and have adjustable shift points

anyone know what the actual difference between the part numbers are?
I would assume that the module wouldn't need to be any different for different models/trim levels of the cars. Maybe if it didn't have cruise control or something, but even then I am pretty sure that is only controlling throttle at that point.

there is one TCM regardless of options you have..no options hav anything to do with the tranny.
the cruise control is all done by the crusie control module.
like i said above..there is an updated version that corrects the previous problem
