Who has cut a coil on their Eibachs?

I need the front to be a bit lower to even the wheel gaps and am considering cutting the Eibachs when I install new struts. Has anyone had any adverse effects to this?

Shouldn't I be able to adjust it when I install Illuminas? I should be able to soften the struts to allow for a smoother front ride.

I would suggest getting a different set of springs. Or maybe you could do what Housecor did and put the stock springs in the rear only.

I did it man, its a bad idea due to the ride sucks, and in my experience the springs did not sit flush or secure between the strut perchs. It was possible to pop a spring free from the bottom spring perch if the front suspension was over extended. Definately not safe and very uncomfortable.
