I think the only diff. was that 03's were available in Titanium Edition and Silver. Other than that, they're identical.

Since I owned both, here are the differences:

MAF sensor appears more stronger
Compass in the rear view mirror
Rims are not silver they are polished
Interior panels are lighter grey than 2k2
No dimily light SES light problem
Overall my 2k3 is 5 x more reliable than my 2k2..

my 2k2 saw the dealership moretimes than i can count. My 2k3 even after 60,000kms still works well, and only visits were maintenance and the oddball stupidness like the trunk torsion bar falling off

I own a 2k2 and I haven't had too many problems. Once they replaced my cluster with a new one, the SES light problem went away and never came back.

Also, I think another difference between the 2k2 and 2k3 is the interior - it is one solid color instead of the mishmash of colors on the 2k2. I have 2 shades of gray for my interior and a black steering wheel. It looks so weird, yet it comes like that from the factory.

As with any car, when you buy the car on the first year of it's cycle, it's going to have some kinks to work out. Since 2k2 was the first year for the 5.5, makes sense that they'd be a little more iffy than the 2k3s. either way they are both good buys.
