My cousin's 2000 maxima is having some problem after 4 happy years. The most ignoring one is the starting problem in the morning. The engine always die on the first try and come back to life after the 2nd or 3rd tries.

Any one experiencing this problem?

Any idea of what's wrong with it?

Hmm, sounds like a common problem associated with cold weather. I wonder if MAS sensor need to be clean or the fuel pump is having problem. Also, I thinking about suggesting him to go for 5w-30 instead of 10w-30 he is using right now for easier start. Maybe the computer need to be reset cause the problem start after he move from city(lower elevation) to suburb at a much higher elevation.
