Minimum brake disc thickness?

Anyone knows the minimum brake disc thickness for 5th gen? I measured my 01 front disc. It is around 8-9 mm after 57k miles.

I remember someone said the minimum thickness is 8 mm. Isn't brake discs supposed to last 90-100k miles? And no, I don't race/autocross or even do a lot of aggressive driving, at most spirited driving from time to time.

Rotor Thinkness is inscribed on the rotor itself. Jest take off the wheel and you'll see it on the rotor. Front should be different then rear, cause front is double plate. Rear is 8mm, thats whats written on my 00 rears. I have 95k miles on rear rotors and its at 7.5, and I am about to change it.

I have rear rotors at 9mm. So machining will shave it down to 8mm or less?

You can bet on the less. Most places don't care how much metal they take off, they just want to do it in one pass, so they jam the bit into the rotor and if it doesn't bog the grinder machine down, they consider it the proper amount.
