P0456 Very Small Evap Leak
Had this code, causing my CEL to come on. It's come on now for the last 3 months!
When I am driving about 75 MPH and then set the cruise or just cruise at a steady 75 for more than a couple miles, the CEL comes on, with a P0456 very small evap leak code.
It's been to the dealer 3 times now. It's been smoked, pressure tested, and visually inspected for all evap components. No visible smoke leaked out, it held pressure according to the consult ii and did not have any pressure drop.
Frustrating because in TX it won't pass state insp. with stored DTCs. If I erase the code and then drive to reset readiness monitors the damn light comes back on again.
Last time in, they said it was a loose vacuum hose clamp at the purge solenoid, and claimed they fixed it. It's back on again. Time before that, they replaced the gas cap.
Any Nissan techs or general Max gurus got any ideas to shoot my way? I'm about to drive my beloved Max off a cliff, or just tape over the damn SES light. If there are any relevant TSBs I'd love to know about them!

I had that code about a month ago. After about a week (yes, I checked the gas cap) I cleared the code with my OBDII reader. It hasn't come back. I never did figure out why it came on. Sounds strange that that many things were checked n your car and the light still comes on.
Did they check the canister for water? I looked in my FSM and there were about 15 pages of things to check for this code. Never thought there would be that many things to check for a 'minor' leak.
