whats the word on the cryo2 kits?

I think i want to buy one.. especially with the new purge kit they offer, but for the price, and my small pockets, is it worth it or should i buy something else? I was thinking about if it is possible to spray the co2 directly into the intake via a solenoid, and maybe even put a small intercooler at the entrance of the intake.

Any thoughts or input??

Thanks,
Mike

im pretty sure that you cant spray co2 into the intake.. co2 is not combustable, thats why its used in fire extinguishers

the way this system works is that it shoots CO2 through a bulb in the intake tube, this process freezes that bulb therefore transfering the heat from the air to the bulb which cools down the airgoing into the engine. if you spray CO2 into your intake tube you will stall your engine. this kit is not easy to make without very advanced tooling and a hell of a mechanical design.
i have heard that this is worth it though as gains of about 11% have been noticed. this is an expensive system, but seemingly worth it. NOTE: i have not installed this system so i dont know how good the gains ACUALLY are. this is just what i have been told.

it is not ment to be "combustable", it cools the incoming air and makes the fuel mixture more dense... with good plugs it will ignite the fuel mixture better... better ignition.... better performance...

Anyone know if this can be used with a supercharger?

Yeah, spraying Co2 into ur intake is like putting dry ice in ur intake tubing which is worthless cause its oxygen that you are looking for. If anything, a really cheap design would be to build a removable box that can surround ur intake. Then, put some dry ice into that box and freeze it. When frozen, put the box around the intake tube. It will be like a cold can design.
