Oh man, Redline MT-90 rocks.....

I was a little skeptical first about how much of a difference really any fluid can make, my tranny was hard to shift in the mornings and third gear was a bit stiff to go in all the time
So I put in Redline MT-90 few days ago and OH MY!!! shifting gears now is like slicing butter, totally amazing, even in the mornings the gears go in like if they are being pulled by a magnet....very nice product, if you have a 5-speed this is a must!

is this a gear oil itself or an additive? what all is involved in adding it?(i.e full fluid flush, drain and fill, add only, etc.)

This is gear oil itself, synthetic. It is as simple as a drain and refill. Like changing your oil w/o the filter part.
