I have an '02 6 speed, and there is a squeaking sound coming from the clutch. When I first heard it I thought it was a belt, but when I checked under the hood, I found that it is the little bracket where the clutch cable goes into the trans. housing. It only squeaks when the clutch is fully engaged at idle. You can put pressure on the bracket with your hand or put pressure on the clutch pedal and it will stop. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know how to fix it?
