30k service

Ok well my max is actually at 34k and I just got the 30k service. My front brake pads were out so I got new fronts too with the rotors resurfaced. all i have to say is did i get jewed because they didnt bleed my brakes. so i got new pads and spongy pedal. was the 30k service worth it? the car feels new and i wasn't about to change the fuel filter and flush the tranny and radiator. i'm gonna flush the brakes this weekend but i'm just kinda pissed.

You should not really need to flush the fluid everytime you do rotors/pads. I did my fronts (cut rotors plus new pads about 15k ago and the pedal felt the same as it was before the replacement, just got rid of the shimmy....

Did they do the brake burnishing procedure? i.e brake them in? Did you see the guy drive out and drive around for 10-15 min bedding them in? That is probably your problem...

no i'm sure about the fluid. you dont have to flush the fluid every time you do the pads but it's 34k miles regardless so i should do it anyway. i know the difference between a spongy pedal and a new pad, big difference. i can feel that the pad makes good contact with the rotor its just my foot has no confidence whatsoever, once the pad makes contact the pedal can go further down
