Okay, I am mechanically inclined enough to install the rsb, but I have some questions:

I don't have jack stands, and even if I did, I wouldn't feel safe working under my car. Here's what I was thinking, take off each wheel by using the jack, install the brackets, tighten the top bolts, and install the brake line spacers. Then back the car up on to ramps, get under and then fasten the rsb on both sides, using help of course with someone holding the bar.

Are there any tips the instructions don't mention that I should know about. Which way should the threaded side of the bolts face? The instructions say the top bolt's threads should stick out on the wheel side and vice versa for the bottom bolts. Didn't someone mention that this could wear down my brake line? Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes, I plan to do it this weekend sometime.

I hope this helps

Hey i didnt have jackstands either so what i did was use 2 jacks and raise up the car and install the brackets and the bar. i think it took me around 45 mins once i figured out what i was doing. also make sure you tighten the bolts good. im asuming u have the stillen bar because of how you described it. when i installed mine there was this annoying clunking noise that it was making and it finally found out it was that bolts not properly tightned. if there is anythin else i can help you with let me know.

As for the bolts, install them exactly as described in the instructions and you will be fine. Its only when that line is ignored that there is a problem with rubbing the brake line.

yeah, I have the stillen rsb...so how much sweeter is the ride once it's installed? I already have the fstb, so my max should handle pretty nice...

I would buy jack stands. They are handy. I bought mine for $15 from the local auto parts store.

Wheels ramps are cool too. I used some wheel ramps when I installed my RSB.

It took me two hours to do mine though. That's because for the first hour, me and my brother were installing it wrong.
