seasonal slow to no window roll - cold climate orgers enter
After seeing a recent thread about slow window roll , it reminded me of my problem with slow windows. And then in the past couple days, as if on cue, it got colder up here and.....the windows slowed dramatically. I've even had my window refuse to roll up at all until the car warmed up a little.
I noticed most of the people in that thread that had slow windows were in warm weather climates. I only seem to have the problem in the winter months. The window returns to "normal" operation when the weather warms again. I didn't see anything in the stickies or TSBs or when doing a forum search about cold weather and windows.
I plan on lubricating the window tracks like the previous thread described so I'll see how that goes but I'm beyond my waranty now so I won't be running to the dealership unless the lubrication doesn't work.
Have any of you cold weather orgers had this problem? Any other thoughts????
